I found (well, I spotted the link over at Pharyngula) a web site which explains exactly how prayer works. Not to mention which prayer positions are best (kind of a Kama Sutra for the godbot).
Now I am not going to pick through the entire site. However, here are a few of the graphics:
Apparently, where you pray from changes who answers your prayer: Read the rest of this entry ?

I have written about the failure of Abstinence Only Sex Education here, here, here, here, here, here and here (and I have touched upon it in other posts). Now, courtesy of the Texas Freedom Network, we have further proof (I found it through the Americans United website) out of the great state of Texas.
Texas has long been held up as the poster child for abstinence-only sexuality education. In fact, Texas consistently leads the nation by a wide margin in federal abstinence education dollars more than $18 million in 2007 alone. What has not been known until this study, however, is what public schools are actually teaching students about sexuality education in their classrooms. And the news is not good. She smiled. Then she asked, “Will you help me look for my pink unicorn?” Read the rest of this entry ?

Those morons turkeys I wrote about a few days ago are looking in the wrong place. Hell, they’re looking in the wrong country. At least according to an expedition a little over two years ago. At least, according to B.A.S.E. (The Biblical Archeology Search and Exploration Institute). Here is an article from Good Morning America (2006) (My snark has been added):
Has Noah’s Ark Been Found? (I’m Guessing No) Read the rest of this entry ?

For as long as I can remember, Noah’s Ark seems be found about every other year. Sometimes they have found the mountain. Sometimes, they have found the actual ark. The only consistent part of the story is Ararat — Mount Ararat, or the Ararat Mountains, or the Mountains in Ararat. Now it would appear that Liberty University has gotten into the act.
